The Village of Biron is seeking to hire a full time Public Works Director/Water
Superintendent. Under the general supervision of the Village Board, the Director is responsible for the overall management of all public works and water utility operations including but not limited to lift stations, streets, fleet maintenance, snow removal, parks and municipal building maintenance. This position is responsible for directing the public works crew and keeping/organizing all pertinent maintenance records.
Requirements: Valid WI motor vehicle operator’s and WI waterworks operator licenses, and confined spaces certifications. Familiar with PSC, DNR, OSHA and WI DSPS regulations applicable to water utility operations. Three years’ experience in municipal public works and supervisory experience preferred. Annual salary range between
$65,000 to $70,000 based on qualifications and experience.
