The Village of Crestline is looking to fill a Full-time Administrative Support Position.

Pay Range Starting: $12.27 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of secondary education and or 3 years’ experience, additionally thorough knowledge of the functions for this job description and bookkeeping, office practices and procedures.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

None.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE CHARACTERISTICS: (* Indicates developed after employment)

Knowledge of: department policies and procedures; * bookkeeping; public relations; office practices and procedures; English grammar and spelling; records management.

Skill in: typing; computer operation; word processing; adding machine or calculator operation; switchboard or telephone console operation; use of modern office equipment.

Ability to: carry out instructions in written, oral, picture, or schedule form; calculate fractions, decimals, and percentages; copy material accurately and recognize grammatical and spelling errors; prepare accurate documentation; compile and prepare reports; respond to routine inquiries from public and/or officials; communicate effectively; gather, collate, and classify information; maintain records according to established procedures; develop and maintain effective working relationships; demonstrate manual dexterity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Performs utility billing office functions
  • Follows up with citizens/customers on behalf of Administration
  • Operates computer terminal to enter, produce, or verify information
  • Performs additional duties as assigned / required
  • Meets all job safety requirements
