Accountant / Controller / Analyst at Boutique Wine Shop Chain (Partially Remote)

Vinodivino is now hiring an experienced Accountant to work closely with company leadership!

We are a successful retailer that sells wine, craft beer, and spirits in the Boston Area. We are committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers every day.

We are looking for a full-time, independent, and passionate Accountant to primarily work remotely.

Our organization is growing at a rapid pace and branching out into new and exciting areas! We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and can work autonomously to follow through on a variety of projects and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be organized, enthusiastic, and eager to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

Accounts Receivable

Inventory Reconciliation

Cash Management

Expense Management

Interface with various outside vendors including accounting and payroll

Compile and maintain various oversight reports

Provide regular updates to leadership on progress/status of ongoing projects

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting
• 3 years of accounting experience
• General ledger and financial statement preparation experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables)
• Initiative: you're an eager self-starter with a desire to learn more and assume responsibility
• Quick learner and willing to adapt to different situations
• Advanced organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and comfortable with refocusing quickly
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
