What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Math Tutor position at Vint Hill Educational Services?
Growing, independent tutoring company is seeking part-time high school math and test-prep tutors for the Charlotte area. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of teaching or tutoring experience in one or more of the following subjects: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus. Previous test-prep experience, strong communication skills, and scheduling flexibility are also highly desirable. Sessions will be scheduled based on students' availability and held in our office in Ballantyne, in student homes (in the CLT area), in the community (library/Panera Bread), or online via the Lessonspace virtual tutoring platform.
Materials for test prep sessions are provided. This includes course books, practice tests, and score reports.
This position requires reliable transportation and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Candidate will also undergo a criminal background check. Please submit your résumé through this site.
