Growing, independent tutoring company is seeking part-time subject tutoring, academic coaching, and test-prep tutors. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of teaching or tutoring experience in one or more of the following subjects: math, science, reading, and writing, and experience working with middle school or high school students. Test-prep experience, strong communication skills, and scheduling flexibility are also highly desirable. Sessions will be scheduled based on students' availability and held in our office, in the student's home, or at a local library. You get to choose when you want to tutor (weekends/weekdays).
Test-prep tutors will have the opportunity to teach all sections of the ACT, SAT, SSAT, HSPT or select those sections that are best suited to their experience and interests. All course books and materials will be provided.
This position requires reliable transportation, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, background check, and passing scores on diagnostic tests. Please submit your résumé for review and we'll follow up if we feel you are a good match.
