Job Outline
Our company is seeking a Trainer to be part of our Employee Development Department responsible for carrying out the overall company objectives as well as hosting and developing innovative training sessions and learning programs.
What does a Trainer do?
Trainer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, connecting with field TL’s / ATL’s / GM’s / RM’s as well as various departments to identify training needs and planning out progression plans for team members. Trainers are responsible for, developing, coordinating, managing and conducting various training programs in one-on-one as well as group classroom settings
Our ideal candidate should have proficient experience with our company’s various operations areas, has proven to be a successful member of our organization and is familiar with our overall company objectives.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
Design, Develop and prepare new in-house training programs
Develop / Improve on current training programs
Arrange annual / semi-annual training schedules for Operations, HR, Marketing, other departments
Select proper training methods (e.g. classroom session, on-the-job training, professional development classes, etc.)
Communicate available training to company personnel and provide necessary information about sessions
Gather feedback from trainees after each training session, assess post training effectiveness and determine the impact of training on staff – provide follow up and feedback to superiors.
Maintain updated courses and training records as well as company provided training equipment
Stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
Research and recommend new training methods / courses / curriculum
Requirements
Proven successful TL / ATL / GM / Coordinator or other roles within the company
Extensive knowledge of company policies, procedures, day to day operations, general company operational procedures.
Strong verbal & written communication skills as well as advanced organizational skills
Proficient in English Language (Bi Lingual English/Spanish is a plus)
MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, word, outlook, etc.)
Ability to handle multiple assignments & tasks
This position is salary; weekend work may be required as well as overnight travel.
Available and willing to travel / drive within region (outside region when needed)
