Baker

Violette Bakers is looking for an experienced from scratch baker/cake decorator/pastry person, with minimum 3 years PROFESSIONAL production experience. We are looking for a baker who can manage baking assistants, who is level headed and focused. An equal who can respectfully work along side our head baker. We are a busy from scratch bakery. We are located in Porter Sq area of Cambridge. Can be Full Time 34-40 hours a week or Part Time (minimum 3 days/24hrs a week). We are closed Sundays and Mondays. Hours are great: start time 8am-10am. However, must be able to work a 6am shift on Saturdays. We are closed ALL major holidays. Must be organized and detail oriented, motivated and able to work well in a fast paced environment. Cake decorating skills a BIG plus. We are a full service bakery, including doing weddings.

Required: Available Tuesday- Sat. Longer hours around holidays. But we are CLOSED all Holidays. Please Reply with resume (CV) and cover letter. We are looking for someone who will stay and grow with the business.

Pay is commensurate with experience, but typically starts between $20-21 hr which is base pay weekly bonus. We quickly compensate proven performers with raises. We offer health/dental insurance, and vacation time for qualified employees. And again, no working on actual Holidays
