What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Marketing Director position at Violi?
DineAmic Hospitality is seeking an Associate Marketing Director who will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of campaigns that develop, maintain and enforce the look and feel of all DineAmic brands in order to reach our target markets and help our restaurants achieve their revenue goals. The Associate Marketing Director will supervise and collaborate with the marketing team on event development, email marketing, copywriting, and other initiatives. Ideal candidates are creative, strategic, and analytical; have at least 5-7 years of professional experience in marketing and experiential events, preferably in the food & beverage or hospitality industries; are effective people managers; and are well-versed the facets of marketing across various platforms including, but not limited to, advertising, social media, public relations, branding & more.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct day-to-day-marketing functions including marketing collateral development; email campaign and web site management; digital / social media / PR initiatives; brand partnerships and more
- Create brand-building programs including monthly/quarterly/annual promotions, sponsorship media events, offsite chef tasting events & more
- Collaborate with graphic design department on promotional material such as invitations, email marketing design, web collateral, social media content, menus, website & newsletter graphics, etc.
- Develop creative strategies, events, and unique approaches in order to target press opportunities
- Write creative and engaging press releases, pitches, and media alerts across all brands
- Manage special events and logistics for partnered media opportunities & venue launch parties
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of local national market dynamics such as forecasted trends, competitive threats, and local happenings in the area such as high-profile appearances, festivals, music concerts & more
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- BA/BS in Marketing or Communications
- 5-7 years of experience in Marketing and Experiential Events, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and project and time management skills
- Past success in executing events from thought to finish and working independently to implement an integrated marketing campaign that surrounds events
- A passion for networking and a strong drive to build an established list of media / professional contacts
- Excellent copywriting skills – writing, editing, proofreading
- Experience in the food & beverage industry is preferred.
- Experience with personal marketing campaigns, writing samples & references required.
