We are currently seeking an outstanding Manager with strong operational skills to support our exceptional oceanfront property in Newport, Oregon. The ideal candidate has experience operating small boutique luxury properties, is a proven hands-on operator, and has strong guest and team relationship skills. You must be comfortable leading/working in all areas of operations.
This very hands-on, team-based position is ideal for individuals who are adept at multi-tasking and those who prefer a dynamic work environment. The general requirements are for an energetic, self-motivated person with a warm & welcoming demeanor and well-organized work habits. Reliability and flexibility are key attributes for success in this position. It is essential to have the ability to remain attentive to and meet the needs of the guests and support fellow team members while consistently performing the regularly scheduled operational duties.
Duties will include guest check-in and check-out, as well as guest services. You will be answering phones, taking reservations, and providing concierge services. The operations manager will also assist housekeepers with daily tasks such as cleaning rooms and laundry and keeping common areas clean and organized. I also assisted with breakfast, cafe, and barista operations as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years of Boutique Hotel
- Required to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
