What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at VIP Staffing?
We are currently hiring for a Project Manager for a company based out of Wimberley, TX. This is a direct hire position. Salary is $110k-$130k/year DOE. Must be willing to drive own vehicle. Qualifications:
- 10 years experience in architecturally designed custom home project management
- A degree or certification in Construction Management, a plus
- Experience in cost estimating, budget tracking, project scheduling, and value engineering
- Must have excellent references and background check
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the construction process for architecturally designed high-end new homes, often in the multi-million-dollar range
- Interpret architectural plans and specifications, engage in value-engineering, work closely with architects to ensure constructability and anticipate any issues ahead of time
- Manage an itemized budget, handle change orders, review competitive bids, select and manage subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare and maintain the project schedule and budget, reviewing invoices, scheduling deliveries, and receivables
- Ensure projects are on schedule, manage materials, subcontractors, and work on site in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure building code compliance
- Facilitate positive and productive relationships between everyone on the project, working with architects, clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Communicate honestly, clearly, and regularly to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that (company) is being good stewards of the budget.
- Manage the layout, organization and safety of the site
- Manage weekly progress communications, client meetings, and scheduling all subcontractors on site.
- Engage in problem solving and collaborate with architects and subcontractors to resolve issues and keep the project on track
- Complete and close out projects of the highest quality that meet the expectations of the most demanding clients and help us generate future work
- Ability to meet deadlines and finish projects on time
