What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Manufacturing Scheduler position at VIP Staffing?
Essential Function 1: Operational functions
1. Draw up a schedule in the cap. planning to establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts and customer orders
2. Analyze and schedules WIP to meet production demands
3. May assume the responsibility to maintain stock transports as needed
4. Plan sequence of manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers
5. Attends daily production meetings and reports activities
6. Ensure participation and cooperation in company-implemented ESHA programs. Follow all company safety rules
Essential Function 2: Key Internal relations
1. Confer with department supervisors to determine the status of manufacturing orders
2. Central point between production, sales, NPI, R&D, Tech. Services, Maintenance, and Shipping
3. Scheduler(s) assume backup responsibilities for each other during absences.
Essential Function 3: Specific functions
1. Schedules workflow for production and mixing departments according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
2. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
3. Prepare production reports, lists of required materials, tools, and equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
