While working alongside the team the Production Trimming Lead can assign tasks (that fit into the overall task assigned by the Production Manager), make on the spot decisions, answer questions, and give directions in the absence of the Production Manager.
The Production Trimming Lead will work closely with the Production Manager to make sure the overall production plan is carried out.
Highlighted Responsibilities Model personal behavior to set an example for the team during day to day work. In regard to pace of work, attitude, and work ethic - It will be expected that the Production Trimming Lead will help ensure time wasting is limited, breaks are timely, team attitude is generally positive, ect.
Report any issues to the Production Manager and work together to come up with a solution. Assume some oversite of the entire flower trimming operation.
Maintain record keeping for harvested flower material. Work with the Production Manager in overseeing the bucking of harvests, trimming of flower, and sorting of trimmed flower.
Maintain curing room burping logs. Make sure that the trimming room is prepared in the morning and ready for the team to start their day.
Keep track of run time on Mobius Move trim to bulk inventory and fill out required paperwork. Convert flower in Biotrack to large and popcorn bud.
Verify all work orders are filled out accurately. Be able to answer questions from team members / help on projects pertaining to any aspect of trimming.
Perform visual checks of all production spaces currently in use and report any issues to the Production Manager. Work with team members to carry out production plans and goals.
Perform other job duties as requested. Meet with Production Manager weekly to discuss plans, changes, problems, etc. It is imperative that the Production Trimming Lead has a complete understanding of the production managers overall plan for the site.
Help disseminate information from the Production Manager to the rest of the production team. Report problems, progress, and any changes to the Production Manager.
Potential changes to any aspect of production must be reported to and approved by the Production Manager before being carried out.
Be willing to carry out additional tasks assigned by the Production Manager at any point and time. Qualifications High School Diploma 3 years’ experience working in a regulated environment with automated or semi-automated equipment Proficiency with MS Office required Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Adaptable to change in the work environment *$15 / hour upon hire.
Any employee designated as a lead by the Employer shall receive a differential of $4.00 per hour in addition to their regular rate.
