Job Description
Facilitate and support as directed the conduct of research, outreach, and other activities in service of a broad range program related to transportation safety. Facilitate subject/participant management including recruitment, selection, scheduling appointments, conduct of study protocols with human subjects, and documentation of all of the above. Positive attitude and reliable attendance required. Must be able to work independently, applying professional behavior and sound judgment; also must be able to work as a wellintegrated team member. Job will require evenings and occasional weekend work, with notice, based on recruitment needs. Motivated to work independently or with little supervision, with awareness and sensitivity towards multicultural issues and deadlines.
Telework may become an option as training milestones are met.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience working with the public in customer service or customer support role
Demonstrated high level of proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet functions, including the use of a variety of advanced features (e.g., track changes, document formatting, and basic spreadsheet formulas, using Microsoft Word and Excel)
Demonstrated proficiency scheduling/coordinating appointments/calendars
Demonstrated experience with call center or receptionist duties
Demonstrated ability to accurately track/record detailed information in a well-organized manner
Preferred Qualifications
Experience conducting research, surveys, or interviews with human subjects
Demonstrated experience working with multiline phone systems.
Understanding of ethical principles of human/animal research
