Required Qualifications
- Verifiable journey-level experience laying rubble stone and dimensionally sawn stone in barrier and
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Will be required to operate a motor vehicle daily.
- Must be able to perform heavy manual labor, including safely moving and handling up to 100 pounds, or more with assistance; climbing and working from elevated workstations such as ladders and scaffolds; working for long periods of time sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling; and working in all types of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work as an effective team member, and receive and execute instructions from the immediate supervisor and/or lead worker.
- May be required to work additional hours/shifts to meet the needs of the department.
- This is a designated emergency personnel position.
- Related experience in a large commercial or educational setting.
- Experience erecting scaffolding.
- Experience operating man lifts.
- Experience operating Lulls (all-terrain forklift)
- Experience laying CMU and brick.
- Experience fabricating flashing components for barrier and cavity stone walls.
