Job Description
"Serves as the advocate for accessibility, a resource for colleagues who need to develop accessible products, and provides outreach and training for project managers, web designers, developers and content providers. Applies specific functional knowledge; working/general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance; may review or guide activities of more junior employees. Bachelors degree and 2-4 years of directly related experience or Masters degree and 0-2 years directly related experience. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles. Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles
2 years of experience with 508 testing
Experience with 508 testing using JAWS, Dragon, CCA, ZoomText, or Keyboard
Experience with WCAG 2.0 A/AA standards, 508 testing of Information Communications Technology, and 508 troubleshooting and coding
Experience with 508 vendors on existing platform or assistive technology tickets
Experience working with teams for the approval of the product acceptance, including product security, performance testing, vulnerability testing, reliability, and fault tolerance testing
Experience managing test data architecture definition and requests
Ability to perform initial debugging on test failures and read through the code
Ability to identify and communicate risks and opportunities for improvement across all products and test frameworks
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree"
