Job Summary:
The Digital Architect will work closely with business leaders documenting workflows, planning technology and road mapping solutions. Candidate is capable of practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to address complex and ever evolving business, regulatory and operating requirements. Intended goal is to integrate, digitalize and automate business processes and workflows.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead Stakeholder Meetings, Gather Information, Develop Specifications. Architect to meet with stakeholders and customers throughout the organization. Lead meetings focusing on information gathering, detailing workflows and capturing expected outcomes and strategic goals. Develop process maps that include applications and technologies and data flows used in current workflows resulting in a general specification.
Work With Multiple Teams To Develop Plans and Outcomes. Drive collaboration between IT Teams, internal and external customers using documentation of specifications, requirements and business objectives gathered, to develop integrated solutions. Mentor and advocate for adoption of innovative and existing technologies to evolve innovations. Provide “Big Picture” guidance to help drive innovation while maintaining standards, structure and processes to maximize seamless integration between systems
Develop Strategy and Adoption. Formulate, translate, advocate, support and execute strategies to achieve the organization's targeted business outcomes. Track and apply both existing and innovative technologies. Use rapid prototyping approaches to evolve innovations and assess their potential within the organization. Demonstrate the business value of architecture as an enabler of strategy formulation, and as support for technology innovation.
Orchestrate Outcomes, Technologies and Consensus. Work with customers, IT and PMO group providing guidance for information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA frameworks. Participate in the development of an implementation plans for the enterprise architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies. participating in rollouts and development providing practical advice and best practices to overcome these challenges and successfully deliver the expected business outcomes.
Research and Understand Technology Trends. Keep abreast of disruptive technology and nontechnology trends (trendspotting) that affect Virtua business. Track business and operating models, market trends and the technology industry to determine their potential impact on the enterprise's business strategy, direction and architecture. Cultivate and disseminate knowledge and provide advice on these changing trends and technologies with staff and leadership.
Adheres to IS Business Practices and available for 24/7 support as needed.
Position Qualifications Required:
Required Experience:
Minimum of 7 years experience in IT development. (solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, infrastructure, business analysis)
Knowledge of business ecosystems, Cloud Architecture, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics, AI concepts and trends, machine learning, robotic process automation
Understands organizational software portfolio: Epic (MyChart, Online Scheduling, Kiosk check-in), Microsoft suite, CRM, Web Architecture & digital customer experience, databases, search concepts, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Experienced with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA frameworks
Knowledge and understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments
Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
Preferred – Ability to storyboard workflows -capture requirements, develop specs
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture
Knowledge of business engineering principles and processes (Six Sigma, Black Belt)
Familiarity with basic graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories
Customer focus and positive, can-do approach is critical.
Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
Strong leadership skills, comfortable in an informal leadership role
Healthcare experience a plus
