As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Refrigeration Installation Department Manager to join our team.
Position Overview: The Refrigeration Installation Department Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation of refrigeration systems across various locations along the Washington coast. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field and will possess strong leadership skills to manage a crew of union pipefitters, with the team expected to grow from 4 to 10 or 12 members in the near future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of union pipefitters, ensuring efficient and high-quality installation of refrigeration systems.
- Oversee all aspects of departmental operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and project management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including Walmart, Kroger, Costco, and Grocery Outlet, to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Drive business development efforts to expand the company's client base and increase revenue.
- Prepare accurate project estimates and budgets, and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Forecast future departmental needs and develop strategies to achieve departmental growth targets.
- Collaborate closely with the owner/president to develop and implement strategic initiatives to grow the business.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in refrigeration installation, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of union regulations and experience working with unionized labor.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
