Trusted Staffe is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at our partner, a Level III Trauma Center in Northport, AL. This is a travel contract position offering competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and start IVs as ordered.
- Interpret and respond to changes in patient status, including cardiac rhythms.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama or ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of two years of recent medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Willingness to float to other units within the facility and potentially other DCH facilities.
- Ability to pass a cardiac exam at orientation.

- Patient ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7
- Fast-paced, high caseload environment
- Overtime billed after 48 hours for 48-hour contracts
