About the Role
The primary responsibilities will include:
- Support the origination, underwriting, and execution of investments, including acquisitions and developments.
- Conduct market research to support underwriting assumptions and investment theses, diligence prospective acquisitions and developments, and draw conclusions on potential opportunities and risks.
- Prepare financial analysis of potential investments, including the creation of detailed pro-forma financial models in Excel, market research, comp analysis and investment committee memos.
- Initiate, review, and analyze due diligence information for potential investments, including property level financial statements, third party reports, tenant credit analysis, and market research.
- Populate, maintain, and improve the acquisition pipeline.
- Establish and maintain relationships with leasing and sales brokers, property managers, operating and development partners, lenders, and other real estate professionals.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual investor materials, year-end strategy presentations, and any existing and prospective investor requests and materials.

Preferred Qualifications
- Keen interest in private equity and institutional-level real estate investing.
- General understanding of real estate finance, financial analysis, and basic accounting terms and principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or real estate with strong academic credentials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Argus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, and excellent research capabilities.
- Diligent work ethic with ability to take initiative and comfortably work in demanding environment with simultaneous ongoing projects.
- 1-2 years of full-time employment experience in real estate, investments, acquisitions, or investment banking.
- Light travel is required immediately with more travel required over time.
