The Junior Account Specialist role presents an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing firms in the industry and is a key player on the Memphis team. This is also a unique opportunity to get a foot in the door in the Commercial insurance space and learn from the best in the business. In addition to owning the administrative duties of our upgraded Memphis office space, the Junior Account Specialist is the support system behind the operations of the client success team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative (70%)
•Supports the Memphis market and team with tasks as needed.
•Schedule appointments, meetings, and reservations as needed.
•Orders office supplies, opens/distributes mail and market voicemails.
•Assists and facilitates employee engagement teams with events and communications. Runs point on the ground for In-office events.
•Respond in a timely manner to the requests and needs of the team.
•Other tasks as needed and assigned.
Client Success Support (30%)
•Assist in entry level insurance tasks such as data entry.
•Assists with answering client calls or returning voicemails and emails in a timely and professional manner.
•Able to prioritize client inquiries and endorsement requests while accurately processing requests to avoid additional work.
•Assist on all accounts, managing key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.
•Assists Account Manager(s) and Account Executive(s) as needed.
•Ensures that account data supports the integrity of company and agency tracking systems.
•Acts with responsiveness, urgency, and professionalism in all client matters.
•Accepts accountability for the quality of their work and can work well within the Commercial Division.
•Other tasks as needed and assigned.
Education, Experience and Other Preferred Items:
•Availability to work from 8am – 5pm CST Monday through Friday.
•Bachelor’s degree (or degree in process), in business administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent.
•Must have familiarity and good working knowledge of various Microsoft software applications (Excel), Agency Management Systems, and the ability to learn new software systems.
•Position requires direct communication with clients; therefore, strong written and oral communication skills, with a commitment to impeccable customer service are required.
•Demonstrates strong organizational and project management skills. Exudes confidence and sound technical knowledge.
•Ability to utilize all resources available to find answers and fully resolve any inquiries is required.
•Willingness to learn and continue to grow as an insurance professional in an entrepreneurial environment.
•Insurance Designations or desire to complete designations a plus.
