Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, analytical minded individual with a track record of using data and analytics to unlock business value. A successful candidate should have accumulated a variety of industry experience, be curious about banking and cards industry, should be results-driven and client-centric.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute and deliver data analytics projects for Visa Money Movement Solutions and internal Visa clients.
- Continually look at the environment to challenge our assumptions around new sources of data, potential analytics partners, tools, talent, and infrastructure.
- Explore leading methodologies, best practices, and import successful methodologies.
- Creates and delivers powerful business-centric insights from data.
- Collaborates with internal and external partners to fully understand specific requirements and desired outcomes.
- Ensures project delivery within timelines.
- Automates processes/codes.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Graduated or master’s degree in a Quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent (preferred)
- 3 years of analytics experience in applying statistical solutions to business problems
- Experience in card payments and/or retail banking domain
- Hands on experience with one or more data analytics/programming tools such as Power BI/Hadoop/R/SQL/Python
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
- Presentation and data storytelling skills including strong hold on MS Excel, or Power BI/Tableau and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated, results oriented individual with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Experience in working closely with data science community
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 83,300 to 138,500 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
