Job Description
Visa’s internal creative agency, Ad Hock, is seeking an Art Director to help craft, develop, and deliver marketing assets from brief to execution. Our clients and partners include the NFL, FIFA, the Olympics, and a number of leading banks, merchants, and FinTechs. You could be designing a tradeshow booth one day and building content for the Super Bowl the next. Really.
You’ll be joining a growing team of nimble creatives who produce creative marketing assets of all shapes and sizes. From digital, social, OOH, email, landing page, whitepapers, and everything in-between. The ideal candidate is one-part dreamer and two-part doer. You can conceptualize truly outrageous ideas but have the strategic skills to ground your concepts within the brief and brand requirements. You’ve got strong design skills, a passion for creating beautiful work, and a desire to constantly be improving.
Your team will be based in Visa’s San Francisco office.
Responsibilities:
- You will create compelling B2B & B2C marketing assets while considering the needs of multiple stakeholders and working cross-functionally to solve issues
- You will collaborate with teams of creatives, marketers, external agencies, and internal stakeholders to deliver marketing assets on-time, on-budget and on-point
- You will brainstorm creative solutions and deliver thoughtful creative that exceeds client objectives
- You will work within existing brand elements to develop original, on-brand, results-driven creative
- Be a creative subject matter expert, guiding clients through best practices and specific design elements

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)
- A proven track record of working with industry-leading clients and brands on a variety of major, 360-degree marketing projects and campaigns
- A strategic understanding of social media and digital marketing best practices
- Strong project management skills and experience coordinating cross functional, end-to-end projects that include a high-level of detail
- Collaborative and “hands-on” teammate who builds strong relationships internally and externally, and works well under pressure, thriving under tight deadlines
- Positive relationship management skills and ability to influence decision makers both internally and externally
- Experience weaving ideas across all mediums from digital to OOH to TV and print
- Proficiency in Office & Adobe products such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign as well as MS PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience in the financial sector or FinTech companies welcome but not necessary
- Advertising/Design Awards, a bonus
