Senior Consultant - Informatics Pharmacist

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Visante Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for performing consulting as an informatics pharmacist lead for the maintenance support of the Epic EHR for a flagship pediatric, oncology, academic medical center. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for collaborating with the organization’s pharmacy, nursing, physician, and other stakeholder groups to manage the build tasks, workflow and systems optimization, issues and risks, and meetings related to ongoing system support.  T
• Interfacing with vendor(s) and internal IT partners to facilitate the maintenance of system to the client’s satisfaction 
• Collaborating with and supporting the Visante consulting team that is at the client site, who are contracted to assist the Pharmaceutical Services Department with various initiatives.

Qualifications:

• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree or equivalent pharmacist background required
• PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and informatics experience -OR- PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency and informatics experience -OR- equivalent pharmacy practice and informatics experience required
• ServiceNow issue tracking platform experience preferred/desirable
• 3-5 years’ experience supporting Epic applications required (either Willow or Beacon)
• Certification or proficiency in Epic Modules (Willow Inpatient and Beacon Oncology required)
• Previous Epic Beacon and Epic Willow experience preferred
• Informatics experience supporting research (i.e., Investigational Medications) required
• Pediatric oncology pharmacy practice required (for Epic Beacon); preferred for Epic Willow
• Extensive Pediatric Willow build experience serving ages 0-21 years of age required and Epic Beacon experience preferred (for Epic Willow)

We offer a competitive compensation package for this remote, work from home, full-time, salaried role. (This role is a mix of onsite – 20% estimated once per month – and remote work of 80%).
