What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician Assistant position at Vision Care?
Our optometry office located near Inverness, AL is seeking an experienced Optician/Optical Manager to join our team. This role will require you to do the following:
- Dispense and fit contact lenses and glasses.
- Assist patients with frame selection while corrdinating with prescription provided by Optometrist.
- Check in all orders for accuracy.
- Dispense, repair, and adjust frames as needed.
- Assist in other areas as needed.
To be successful, the candidate must be able to operate an auto-lensometer, collect measurements such as seg heights, vertex, eye size, etc...
Must have at least 1 year experience as an Optician. High school diploma required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
