Vision IT is seeking a dynamic IT Help Desk Support personal for a great opportunity in CA!

Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Provide frontline technical support for all IT-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop/laptop malfunctions, software, and hardware issues via telephone, email, and collaboration tools like MS Teams.
  • Offer hands-on assistance and guidance for desktop/laptop configurations, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Assist with network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP configurations.
  • Provide technical training to end-users on IT systems and applications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues and facilitate timely resolutions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and IT best practices to continuously improve support services.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of significant experience in a helpdesk support role with a focus on automation efforts.
  • Highschool diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and MS Office suite.
  • Experience providing IT-related training for end-users.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop/laptop configurations, TCP/IP, and network connectivity.
  • Familiarity with Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical users.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and strong work ethic in resolving IT issues.
  • Additional hands-on experience in desktop support or help desk operations is preferred.

Note: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) for access to restricted systems and facilities.
