Director of Operations

Vision Landscape Services, LLC is a full-service landscape maintenance & construction company located in Flemington, NJ. We are now hiring a full-time Director of Operations who will be tasked with running the day to day operations of the company.

The Director of Operations is responsible for managing both the day-to-day and strategic operations of the company. You will ensure that the people, systems, operational policies and controls are in place to effectively support the organization. The Director of Operations will be tasked with safeguarding the financial strength and operating efficiency of the Company, as well as ensuring proper measures exist and high quality results are continuously delivered. You will clearly communicate and articulate the vision and mission to all levels of the Company, while helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the organization.

Responsibilities are to:

- Participate in the development execution of the overall strategic plan

- Serve as the subject matter expert on all operational management related issues

- Work with senior management to develop short & long-term sales, construction, and maintenance operational plans

- Oversee the execution of plans

- Ensure that both construction projects, as well as grounds maintenance schedules are performed to company satisfaction, maintaining proper installation methods, safety, and quality standards

- Monitor budget performance as well as ensure budget key performance indicators are met

- Oversee assigned functional area to make sure operational excellence in all transportation functions

- Develop and create schedules for all maintenance and construction crews, as well as snow removal operations

- Monitor and oversee company fleet and equipment

- Direct organizational operations by providing leadership to direct reports to make sure company customer requirements are met

- Assure total customer satisfaction by developing relationships with customers to secure long-term partnerships

- Maintain regular contact with customers and ensure positive customer relations

- Solicit feedback on performance

- Develop action plans as necessary

- Assist with new business sales activities as necessary

- Manage and oversee employees, and ensure all employees follow company guidelines of dress code, smoking regulations, and all regulations set forth in company operating procedures

- Professionally evaluate employee performance

- Initiate hiring promotions transfers or disciplinary actions

- Measure work performance - results to objectives comparing taking corrective actions

- Correctly enforce company policies and safety procedures to make sure compliance is met

- It is expected that all of your actions, decisions, and enforcements will be in the best interest of the business

- Professionalism is to be maintained in yourself, business procedures, customer relations, and employees at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Landscaping: 3 years (Required)
