We are looking for a TRAVELING Full Time Optometric Technician to work in our Moose Lake, Cloquet and Duluth, MN locations!
Monday to Friday schedule with an occasional weekend.
***On site training will be provided at all locations.
Candidate will possess:
Professional appearance
Friendly and calm demeanor
Attention to detail
Ability to make small talk with patients
Excellent attendance record
Job Description:
The Optometric Technician will take the patient through all of the pre-testing equipment, including but not limited to:
Wide Field Retinal Camera
Slit Lamp Video
Auto-refractor
NCT
Non Confrontational Visual Field
The Optometric Technician then takes the patient to the Exam Lane and introduces the patient to the Digital Refractionist and then the Digital Doctor.
When the exam is complete, the Optometric Technician will then bring the patient to the retail salesfloor where they will explain to the Optician what the findings are from the patient's exam.
***Candidate must have an excellent attendance record.
****This is a TRAVEL position and candidate must have reliable transportation and a current valid Driver's License.
