The Director of Sales will lead our sales department and report to the Vp of Sales. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts. Your duties will include motivating our sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Setting up new markets(everything from hiring to finding managers/making sure everything is set in place for new rollouts)
- Oversee regionals
- Train regionals
- Make sure sales operations in each region are running smooth and efficient
- Approves incentives from regionals
Qualifications
- Must be in good company standings
- Must attend all meetings
- Must be a leader in the office
- Must have solar sales experience
- Must know how to use excel and google sheets
- Must have been a previous Regional manager, or built a sales organization
- Must be able to run training classes and perform takeovers
- Must be willing to travel
