We are looking for an experienced, qualified Accountant. This role is suited for the individual seeking opportunity for growth and development. To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the ability to conduct a wide variety of intricate and complex accounting duties and projects. An ideal candidate for the role should be savvy in Excel, have excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. The candidate should also possess the ability to review and analyze current processes for potential improvements and meet timeliness in completing assignments with deadlines and due dates and have strong integrity and ethics. Must be a self-motivated, reliable individual interested in joining our rapidly growing organization. This is an in-office role, and would be based out of our Gillette, WY or Sheridan, WY office locations.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions
- Complete month-end, quarter end and year-end financial statements and other reporting items accurately and timely
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Manage monthly reconciliation schedules, such as, but not limited to credit cards, taxes and accrued liabilities ledgers
- Perform various analysis on specific General Ledger accounts, budget to actual reports, or reforecast to actual reports.
- Applies a broad knowledge of advanced accounting methods and procedures.
- Performs general ledger balance sheet reconciliations, verify accuracy of data.
- Compile data and schedules required for audits and other filings
- Support monthly and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Responding to information requests and assisting with audits.
- Analyze and summarize account information and trends.
- Experience with ASC 842 (Lease accounting) considered a plus
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

- Strong knowledge and proficient with Microsoft applications (Dynamics Business Central, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power BI is a plus)
- Proficient Knowledge of AP & AR processes
- Ability to work in a cloud-based environment
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP) Updates job knowledge by seeking and participating in educational opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of accounting experience
- CPA not required – but considered a plus
