Job Position Purpose/Summary: As the Data Analytics Manager, you are primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of solutions pertaining to data science, data analytics, and business intelligence. You will oversee a team of data science and machine learning analysts and ensure that they are productively moving work through the development pipeline. You will need to maintain priorities and statuses on many concurrently assigned tasks of varying complexity while supervising a team. You will need to maintain a solid knowledge of trends, technology, and tools that are relevant to data analytical efforts and make recommendations as appropriate. This is a working manager role in which you will keep your analytical skills sharp by taking on limited opportunities and adjacencies to ensure that you are able to dialogue with your team and truly understand their needs.

Education, Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of expertise in analytics.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
• Competence with project management, context-appropriate modeling, analysis, common market analytics techniques, Python/R, database querying technologies, and data practices is expected.
• Competence with reporting techniques and business intelligence software is expected
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification(s) with relevant expertise preferred.
• Symitar infrastructure or other financial industry core platform is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities/Competencies: Due to the nature of this role dealing with a diverse set of members and/or employees, the position requires (and is not limited to) the items listed below.

• Knowledge and experience of factor analysis, regression/logistic regression, CHAID/decision trees, K-means, univariate analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, time series analysis, and other analytical practices.
• Machine Learning Operations knowledge and experience with practices, workflows, and environments.
• Ability to understand and advise on ETL processing as it relates to data analytical and data science needs.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and member service skills.

• Ability to be detail oriented.
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions.

Compensation Range: $95, 000/yr. - $ 135,000/yr. *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*
