including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Perform meal preparation / diet monitoring, including shopping for groceries Assist with medication reminders Light housekeeping and laundry Mobility / transfer assistance Provide client with transportation to errands, appointments, and shopping Caregiver Candidate Requirements : A dedication and passion for serving seniors, with a strong sense of responsibility 1 years of hands-on experience preferred, either in a private home or facility High school / GED Must pass state / nationwide background check, fingerprinting.
Must have valid Driver’s License, currently lease / own your own vehicle, and provide proof of current auto insurance Ability to transfer patients and provide mobility assistance, including turning immobile patients who are bed-ridden Perform all personal care and hygiene assistance functions as described above Cheerful personality, a positive attitude, and a commitment to focusing on the needs of the client Alzheimer’s / Dementia experience preferred Visiting Angels is the family alternative to assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
