- We have cases available in Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Sanibel, Captiva, Boca Grande, and Arcadia.
- Work during the hours that fit your availability! Work full-time, part-time, days, evenings, weekends, live in, or even overnight. Possibility to receive up to 168 hours/week.

About Visiting Angels of the Florida West Coast

- Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields preferred

- The ability to build rapport with patients
- The ability to handle physical workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
As a home care provider, your daily tasks may include:
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing etc.
- Assisting with mobility
- Providing medication and fluid reminders
- Providing light housekeeping and laundering
- Preparing healthy meals according to doctor or dietitian recommendations
- Running errands and grocery/home shopping
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Promoting engagement in senior-friendly activities
Requirements
To become a caregiver, we ask that you:
- Provide professional references
- Have had previous caregiving experience and/or a desire to learn
- Have a car, valid driver’s license, insurance, and ability to transport clients
- Pass a Level 2 background check and drug screening
- Obtain the required Florida State Certifications and requirements (We provide reimbursement of costs after 90 days of continuous employment)
