We work with Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Pay/Insurance to ensure quality healthcare services. Join our team in making a difference in the community.

#### Type of Work Involved

  • Assess symptoms of diseases and responses to treatment
  • Educate patients and caregivers on self-care techniques
  • Address queries regarding medications, diet, disease progression, and activity
  • Administer IV and injectable medications
  • Conduct prescribed treatments, including wound management and ostomy care
  • Promote independence and convey any health changes to the physician

#### Type of Employment

As a VNA nurse, you will be compensated per visit and receive mileage reimbursement or access to a company car. Expect to be on monthly and weekly on-call rotations, with availability required from 8 AM to 4:30 PM daily. Travel of 45 miles or more may be necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

#### Training

Receive comprehensive training over a 30-day period covering organizational policies and procedures. Additionally, computer training will familiarize you with the handheld device used during patient visits.

#### Duties

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Assessing symptoms and treatment responses
  • Providing patient and caregiver education
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Conducting wound management and ostomy care
  • Communicating any health changes to the physician

#### Qualifications

To Be Considered, Candidates Must

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Possess basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Hold a Missouri nursing license with a minimum of one year home health or nursing experience
  • Have reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance
  • Clear pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Be registered with Family Care Reg and not listed on the Employee Disqualification List
  • Complete a thorough application and provide two credible business references
