Introduction Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Electronic Technician BGA (Ball Grid Array) Rework position. This position is a contract opportunity which will be on-site in Orlando, FL for a duration of 6 months or greater, and has the potential to transition to direct hire with end client.
2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm) = 1 position
Summary The Electronic Technician - BGA Rework, will be responsible for performing repair operations in accordance with FAA technical documentation and resources available to conduct and inspect his/her own work.
Job Description:
This position will be responsible for remove or replace of circuit cards and soldering components to cards using machinery
Key contributions:
Performs repair operations in accordance with the associated documentation and the time allocated, using the available resources
Ensures the On-Time delivery of repairs
Ensures the Quality of repairs
Complies with allocated costs of repairs, contributes to the commercial margins
Contributes to continuous improvement actions
Qualified candidates would have the following:
Prefer candidates with 1 year or more of BGA and/or airline repair experience on electronics
Will accept candidates with no BGA experience, but should have 1-2 year experience in electronic rework (populate circuit cards, remove or replace circuit cards)
This is a hands-on role
