Summary of General Duties/Responsibilities:

Vista Bank is currently seeking an experienced, full-time Lending Assistant. The Lending Assistant is to provide quality service to clients by directing and assisting with needs and inquiries by phone, in person or via email. Has a thorough understanding of most types of loans and other related requirements and can independently act to meet those requirements. A Lending Assistant serves as the face of Vista Bank and is often the most important public relations person. As a Lending Assistant the position/duties include:

Essential Duties:

· Ordering title & appraisals

· Pulling Flood Determinations & Credit Reports

· Review Settlement Statements

· Assist in resolving customers daily NSF matters

· Process draw requests online of credit, commercial loans and real estate construction loan files.

· Prepare and maintain files, databases, records for the lenders

· Process documents received for each loan file

· Help verify the accuracy and completeness of each document for lenders

· Track documents for loan files such as hazard insurance, flood insurance, vehicle titles, UCC filings/financial statements

· Assist customer and lender on the closing of loans

· Act as a secondary contact for the closing of loans with title companies

· Assist customers with general loan related questions

· Assist the lender with his collateral and financial exception report

· Opening new accounts

· Ordering Wire Transfers

· Debit card set up

· Account maintenance

· Recording and retention of multiple files and documents

· Developing relationships with our customers through outstanding customer service

· Ensures compliance with all applicable company policies and banking regulations

· Other duties as assigned

This Position requires:

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience

· One year of banking experience preferred

· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral

· Ability to work with detailed information in an efficient and accurate manner, while meeting established deadlines

· Basic commercial loan experience

· Motivated individual with the ability to work independently

· Ability to work well with fellow employees and customers

· Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

· Positive attitude and great work ethic

· Great analytical, logical, and reasoning skills

· Ability to use office equipment, including computers

· Ability to speak and hear

· Clarity of corrected vision at 20 inches or less for normal duties

· Clarity of corrected vision at 20 inches or more for security purposes

· No visible tattoos or body piercings except conservative ear piercings

· Reliable transportation

· Must meet minimum credit standards and pass a criminal background check

Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
