Vista Health System is interested in hiring an experienced Registered Nurse / RN - CVOR to join our Open Heart program and provide nursing care to surgical patients.You will be responsible for the safety of surgical patients while in the surgical suite and assisting with the supervision of nonprofessional personnel in the area.
***$15,000 Sign-On Bonus (5 years experience)
Specifically responsible for:
- Assessing patient status.
- Providing supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Providing care to surgical patients.
- Providing information to surgical patients and families.
- Providing call coverage for emergencies.
*Day Shift, 8 hours, On-call & Call-in support is required.

Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
- BSN strongly preferred
- CPR, ACLS certified
- Two years of operating room experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skill can be acquired.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $42.92 - $64.85 per hour
