Job Description
The Position:
Our Lewiston, ID location is seeking Temporary Production Workers . These positions are short-term, lasting 6 months or less, and can accommodate workers who may be temporarily displaced from other work or looking for seasonal work.
Shift Information: Ability to work any shift including Days, Swing, Weekend Days, and Weekend Swing. Shifts range from 34.5 - 40 hours per week. Some half shift schedules are available.
Wage Information: $17.85/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect ammunition for any visual defects.
- Verify components and package ammunition.
- Follow all company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work independently without continual supervision
- Must have demonstrated strong work ethic
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
Physical Requirements:
- Reaching, handling and manual dexterity to inspect and package.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Good vision required: Position requires good vision to inspect product for quality.
- Manufacturing environment: Exposure to noise is present and occasionally employees are exposed to dust and fumes. Safety equipment such as protective eyewear and earplugs are required and provided by the company.
Mental Requirements:
- High attentiveness for safety.
- Flexibility to move between jobs and to handle tasks simultaneously
