The Warehouse Lead supports Camp Chef business operations by communication of daily tasks and priorities to warehouse team to maintain a smooth flow of materials in and out of the warehouses in a safe and orderly manner. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and in the absence of a supervisor is the go-to person for questions regarding job responsibilities. Works with the shift supervisor in ensuring coordination of warehouse activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists in training new and temporary agency employees to perform job functions Help create a professional, safe, and efficient work environment. Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or electric hand truck. Hand-stacking and wrapping pallets of merchandise. Safety operate Class I, III, and IV lift trucks to move pallets of inventory. Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks. Examine shipping and receiving load content against records to ensure accuracy. Utilize RF Smart system to properly ship, receive, pick, transfer, and store inventory. General housekeeping to maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization. Adhere to all safety policies including general site safety, forklift operation, and truck driving. Performs other duties as requested by Supervisor serving as the go-to person for the team in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor. Requirements/Qualifications Must be forklift certified or able to successfully certification of forklift operation, training provided on-site. Must be able interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, and manuals. Positive attitude / self motivated. Strong communication skills Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates in job functions. Strong organization and prioritizing skills. Flexibility to work independently to resolve issues and problems in daily assignments. Must be able to prioritize and work well under pressure in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Must be very flexible with shift start times as well as days worked, including weekends and holidays.
