Job Description: Monday - Friday; NO WEEKENDS
Hours: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM O/T per business needs
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Your role:
Responsible for selling and promoting company products while working in a fast pace wholesale / warehouse environment with customers and other employees in a team atmosphere. Provides prompt, courteous, and professional one on one attention to customers. Also involves working with various warehouse power material handling equipment including fork lift, pallet jack, and hydraulic ramps. Handles daily cash applications including tender of customer orders, collect cash, check, and credit card payments and responsible for end of day drawer balance. Other duties include stocking shelves, rotating product, inventory counts, and daily cleaning task. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect items for damage, perform quality checks and temperature checks, verify lot numbers and take appropriate action as needed.
- Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack (FIFO) and remove outdated inventory according to company policy.
- Disperse over-stocked items to available areas for temporary storage, using stand-up reach style forklift.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, sweep/scrub floors, set up promotional and seasonal displays
- Handle daily cash applications including tender of customer orders, collect cash, check, and credit card payments, and responsible for end-of-day drawer balance. Performs other related duties as assigned.
