Development Support Analyst

We are seeking an analytical-minded, customer-oriented candidate to support the Vistex software solutions in a fast-paced work environment as a Development Support Analyst. The main priority will be to coordinate the software issues reported by customers and document the resolutions. This position will report to the Product Support Director. Vistex will provide training for the successful candidate who has expertise in a number of the areas listed below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot issues by replicating, debugging, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving second and third level software support issues
• Performance improvement skills.
• Interact with customers to ensure problems are clearly defined
• Assist customers with issues during software installations and upgrades
• Create SAP Notes
• Learn and understand the application products developed by the business
• Suggest methods for improving efficiency and service to customers and associates
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience

• 8 - 10 years: ABAP programming
• 8 year(s): Knowledge of SAP R/3 functionality
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Ability to communicate professionally with top managers
• Business or Information Technology Degree

• Knowledge of Vistex Incentives & Paybacks functionality, Data Maintenance functionality, or SAP Sales and Distribution functionality with exposure to system configuration

Education

• Bachelors or better in Computer Science
• Bachelors or better
