Job Opportunity:

Visto’s Trailer Sales is currently seeking a qualified trailer technician which would be involved in servicing and repairing of open and enclosed trailers. As a pivotal member of our team, you will contribute to the continued success and growth of Visto’s Trailer Sales.

Reports to: Service Writer

Primary job responsibilities:

• Welding and fabricating trailer components or parts as needed.
• Installation of truck beds and upfit vehicle items.
• Operate forklifts, heavy machinery, and power tools for assembly functions.
• Electrical diagnosis and repair
• Hydraulic diagnosis and repair
• Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs as needed, reporting errors to the supervisor.
• Repacking of wheel bearings and basic trailer maintenance.
• Contribute to team effort and assist with company needs.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Will train the right individual
• Drivers License
• Able to operate equipment including towing of a trailer
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Physical ability to stand, bend, squat and lift 50 lbs throughout the day including overhead, unload tires, wheels, and parts by hand and with a forklift
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, measuring devices, and basic math
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• High level of attention to detail while performing a variety of tasks

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Hours may vary depending on workloads and seasonality

Compensation:

• $20.00HR to $28.00HR Starting off, with future potential for efficiency bonuses. Excellent opportunities for growth within the company

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

License/Certification:
