SQL Database Administrator
Job Posting for SQL Database Administrator at Visvero, Inc.
- Experience
with SQL 2016 and higher and Windows Operating Systems required, familiarity
with VMware preferred.
- Experience
in troubleshooting and recovering application databases.
- Extensive
knowledge of database recovery, database administration (including security)
and database optimization and tuning required.
- Experience
with the Installation, configuration, and administration of database software
within the Microsoft SQL server stack including SSRS, SSAS and SSIS
- Experience
with Monitoring and optimizing database performance.
- Experience
creating and/or tuning complex queries.
- Experience
with reviewing and assessing the impact of database design changes prior to
their implementation.
Requirements
- Participate
in troubleshooting and recovering application databases.
- Monitor
tickets and requisitions and ensure work is performed on time and accurately.
- Responsible
for database recovery methodologies and implementation
- Administer
database security to meet Federated Hermes standards.
- Monitor
and optimize database performance.
- Create
and/or tune complex queries.
- Review
and assess the impact of database design changes prior to their implementation.
- Provide
technical expertise in the design and development of complex SQL queries.
- May
provide technical leadership for other database administrators.
- Participate
in the on-call/after hour support rotation for Federated Hermes SQL Database
