Job Description: Administrative Assistant (32 hours/week with Benefits)
Job Description and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to DANTeC and aid in managing the consortium’s administrative affairs, records, calendars, and communications. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to the General Manager, the Operations Director, the Finance Manager, and the DANTeC management team and other stakeholders as required. Duties may include answering phones, processing incoming mail, preparing reports, maintaining calendars, drafting letters and memos, documenting and responding to authorized information requests, maintaining consortium and personnel records, making copies, and providing oversight for office vendors or supplies.

The desired candidate will be a reliable, committed, and detail-oriented individual seeking personal and professional growth in business. A professional acumen, in addition to excellent organization and time management skills, are required for success within the position. The Administrative Assistant must also have strong communication skills and be able to multitask. Previous office experience is preferred and working knowledge of computers and various applications is required.
All employees will be required to test negative for substance abuse prior to beginning employment with the firm. Additionally, all employees must submit to a background screening by the firm as well as the Authority’s I.D. Badging office. Must have reliable transportation daily.
