Job Overview:
Prepares invoices for Service and Parts departments, timekeeping for Service and Parts departments.
Day in the Life of a Service Biller:
- Coordinates obtaining purchase orders once service repairs and preventative maintenance have been completed or parts have been delivered.
- Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers, processes credit card payments.
- Proactively work with fellow team members and outside personnel to trouble shoot and overcome impediments to timely payments.
- Client centered mentality and passion for customer service.
- Other duties as assigned to help assist and support within Service and Parts departments.
- Process credit card payments
- Filing, follow up with open work tickets.
Education/Experience:
- Proven ability to provide accurate and thorough data.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite required with strength in Excel
- Knowledge of billing and revenue systems desired
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to deal with sensitive issues and/or persuades others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.
- Highly motivated, well-organized, and quality focused.
- Must be a team-oriented professional who can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to be proactive, to work independently of day to day supervision.
