Job Title: Rad Tech - X-ray
Locations: Uniontown, PA
Duration: 13 Weeks Assignment
Shift: 10 Hrs, 4 Days, Day Shift
Job Description:
- Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
- Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
- Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
- Sterilizing radio logic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
- Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.
- Administering radio contrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
- Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.
Experience:
- 1-2 years Rad Tech
License and Certifications:
- ARRT (CT)
- BLS
- Co-vid Vaccination Certificate
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Uniontown, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Rad Tech: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- ARRT Certification (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
