Title: RN Oncology
Contract duration: 13 weeks (Possibilities of extension)
Location: Show Low, AZ
Shift: Day, 08 hours, 05 days
Pay rate: $2596/ week (on W2 basis - Negotiable on call)
Special Vitana Bonus: $500 ($250 on first paycheck and $250 on last paycheck)
The opening of RN Oncology in Show Low, AZ has the Day shifts availability. The shift will be of 8 hours, 5 days. The job requires RN for AZ,* BLS certified from AHA, OCN certification and Co-vid Vaccination Card. Recent 2 years* experience is required in RN Oncology.
Responsibilities for this job are:
- Provides direct nursing care for specified patients, including appropriate supportive care and administration of chemotherapy, blood components, fluid and electrolyte replacements, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
- Performs nursing assessments and triage of patient care needs for new and ongoing patients.
- Provides education to patients, families, and significant others; acts as an information resource to students, health care professionals, patients, and the public.
- Provides family support as required, including applicable referrals and bereavement counseling.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
