What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Assistant position at Vitawerks?
One of our partner facilities in California is looking to hire a full-time Physical Therapist Assistants.
Responsibilities:
- Provide applicable physical therapy care for patients under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist
- Clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Implement treatment programs directed by a Licensed Physical Therapist, communicate updates clearly, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain open and positive communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third party payors
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Effective team member with strong organizational skills.
- Active listening and comprehension skills.
- Effective time management and planning abilities.
License/Certification:
- Graduation from a physical therapist assistant or physical therapist education program accredited by CAPTE.
- Current valid State license/registration/certification.
- Active CPR certification
