To help us keep the future of agriculture bright, we are seeking a motivated, driven individual to join our team in the role of Automation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating and working in a team environment utilizing virtualization, database management, endpoint protection, networks, security, and lifecycle management of control system hardware and software. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the research, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of core computing systems. This includes visualization endpoint protection, networks, back-ups, security, and databases for control systems. Facilitate the analysis, configuration, testing, installation, upgrades, and production Collaborate with a support team to provide troubleshooting guidance to Country Operations, Maintenance and Automation personnel. You should apply for this role if you: Have certifications/experience in: A , Network Plus, Vmware virtualization, Microsoft SQL database, Microsoft Windows OS, network security Experience in control system hardware/software builds and configuration Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Technology or a related discipline Demonstrate exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities Have strong attention to detail and documentation This role also provides you with the opportunity to travel across Canada, visiting Viterra’s operational sites to provide automation support.
