What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production hourly position at Vitro?
Overview :
Production positions require lifting & carrying, packing, loading, cleaning, operating equipment, and / or general utility duties in a glass manufacturing plant.
Those hired will be required to work 12 hour shifts in a 24 / 7 operation. Production workers starting wage rate is $ 19.
00 / hr . with benefits. After successful completion of a 6-month probation period, the wage rate will increase to $ 19.63 / hr.
with another increase at 1 yr. to $20.26 / hr. with the potential of $ 21.56 / hr. based on time in the position.

- Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shift schedule
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
