Job Description
Title: Project Manager

Description:
• Creating project task lists, scheduling, and managing budgets
• Running project meetings, taking meeting notes, and distributing messages to stakeholders who could not attend
• Consulting with the assigned Project Leader (PL) to seek guidance and input during the critical phases of the project.
• Delegating project tasks to college staff and faculty best positioned to complete them - Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
• Serving as a point of contact for college teams when multiple sub-projects are assigned to ensure team actions remain in synergy
• Effectively communicating with college leadership and the District to keep the project aligned with their goals.
Skills Required
• Assists in developing overall project scope, including the identification and establishment of project objectives, milestones, schedule, and overall plan for the creation and implementation of new Bachelor's Degree Programs
Skills Preferred
Experience Required
Adjusting project schedules and targets as needed and communicating those changes to all stakeholders
• Reporting on the progress of the project to stakeholders and leadership
Education Required
• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two full-time equivalent years of experience providing journey-level project management coordination and assistance, including preparing reports, maintaining records, tracking budgets, performing research, and project communication. OR
• Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and four full-time equivalent years of experience providing journey-level project management coordination and assistance, including preparing reports, maintaining records, tracking budgets, performing research, and project communication.
